Services
Every session is different. Here's what's available - and what each one is best for.
In-Person Session
What happens
Steve visits your animal in their environment - at home, on the farm, or in the paddock. The session runs for 60 minutes. Steve connects with your animal, works through what's there, and explains what he finds in plain language. No performance. No script. Just an honest conversation about what your animal is expressing.
What you receive
A recording of the session and written notes with follow-up recommendations, delivered within a few days.
Best for
Behaviour problems you can't explain. Changes in your animal's mood, energy, or responses. Situations where you need Steve in the room with your animal.
Remote Animal Reading
What happens
Before the session, you'll complete a short questionnaire about your animal. Steve reviews this, then you meet on Zoom. Steve connects with your animal remotely - distance doesn't change what he can read. The session is recorded so you can revisit it.
What you receive
A recording of your Zoom session and a written summary with Steve's observations and recommendations.
Best for
Anyone outside Steve's in-person area. Clients in Australia, UK, USA, or Canada. Anyone who prefers to work remotely.
Audio or Written Reading
What happens
You complete a short questionnaire about your animal and submit a photo. Steve conducts the reading and sends you an audio message or written summary by email. No live session required. You receive Steve's observations and recommendations at a time that suits you.
What you receive
A personal audio message or written summary - your choice. Delivered within the agreed timeframe.
Best for
Clients who prefer an async format. A first reading to decide whether a live session is right for you. Quick follow-ups after a previous session.

Business Animal Integration
What this covers
Some businesses and organisations work closely with animals - equestrian centres, farms, wildlife parks, therapy animal programmes, and more. Steve works with organisations to understand what their animals are communicating, address behaviour concerns, and improve how animals and staff interact.
Suitable for
Equestrian businesses. Farm environments. Therapy and wellbeing programmes using animals. Any organisation where animal welfare and communication is part of the work.
Format
Each engagement is scoped individually. Steve will discuss your situation during an intro call and propose a suitable format and time frame.
Teaching and Workshops
What this covers
Steve teaches the fundamentals of animal communication - how to read what animals are expressing, how to understand their responses, and how to use that understanding practically. Workshops are practical and grounded, not mystical. You leave with skills you can apply immediately.
Topics include
Reading body language and energy. Understanding behaviour in context. Building communication with specific animals. The ethics of animal communication.
Format
Individual coaching sessions or group workshops of up to 12. Available in-person across NZ or via Zoom for remote participants.
Animal communication is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your animal is unwell, injured, or showing signs of illness, please see your vet first. Steve's work complements veterinary care - it does not replace it. When in doubt, call your vet.
Not sure which option is right?
A free 15-minute intro call lets you ask questions before committing to anything. Steve will listen to what's going on and tell you honestly which option suits your situation best.
